- Technical Notes
- ---------------
- Some programs may not react as expected to the presence of Quick Bar. 99% of all
- programs we tested responded normally. If you run across an application that
- does not respond well, namely it hangs during start up or it will not start at
- all, try the following:
-
- 1) Exit Quick Bar and try running the program, if the program runs fine
- after exiting Quick Bar, the in the BTQTOOLS.INI file, located in your
- Windows directory, Add the Following section:
-
- [Exclude]
- MODULENAME=Exclude
-
- Module Name should be the name of the program's module. For instance, if the program
- if called TEST.EXE, the Module name should most likely be TEST. So the above would read
- as follows:
-
- [Exclude]
- TEST=Exclude
-
- In doing this, you will see this application's Icon on your desktop rather than it being
- hidden from view as the other Applications are.
