- USING 16-BIT VGA CARDS
- ======================
-
- Some 16-bit VGA cards can cause upper memory block conflicts that
- result in a NO HOST ADAPTER FOUND error on boot-up. This is a
- problem with some 16-bit cards and 8-bit memory-mapped cards, and
- is not specific to CorelSCSI.
-
- To eliminate the conflict, you can
-
- - set the memory address on your card to E000 if your computer
- allows cards to use memory above E000
-
- - use your VGA card in 8-bit mode. For instructions about how to
- use your card in 8-bit mode, see the user manual for your
- 16-bit VGA card.
