  1. USING 16-BIT VGA CARDS

  4.  Some 16-bit VGA cards can cause upper memory block conflicts that
  5.  result in a NO HOST ADAPTER FOUND error on boot-up. This is a 
  6.  problem with some 16-bit cards and 8-bit memory-mapped cards, and
  7.  is not specific to CorelSCSI.

  9.  To eliminate the conflict, you can
  10.  
  11.  - set the memory address on your card to E000 if your computer 
  12.    allows cards to use memory above E000
  13.  
  14.  - use your VGA card in 8-bit mode. For instructions about how to
  15.    use your card in 8-bit mode, see the user manual for your 
  16.    16-bit VGA card.
