  2. PINOUT Shows All No-Connect (NC)
  3. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
  4. The VIEW/PINOUT option in the menu works directly from your design
  5. file. If you are floating signals in the Pin/Node declaration section
  6. of your design file these will be displayed as NC on the pinout
  7. diagram. A list of all floating signals is given if you scroll to the
  8. bottom of the display. This is a common occurrence if processing
  9. designs for MACH devices.

  11. To remedy this situation you must backannotate the signal placement data
  12. from a successful design compilation to your design file. To do this execute
  13. the following steps in the PALASM menu.

  15.         1. Select 'RUN' option
  16.         2. Select 'Other operations ...' option
  17.         3. Select 'Back annotate signals ...' option
  18.         4. Select 'Use last successful placement' option
  19.  
  20. When this task successfully completes re-try VIEW/PINOUT option.
