  7. Navigating between online applications no longer requires that you return
  8. to PALASM 4.

  10. - From LANGUAGE REFERENCE and INDEX
  11.    1. Select "Navigate" from the menu bar.
  12.    2. Select the desired online application from the pull-down menu.

  17. - From ERROR RECOVERY
  18.    1. Select "Other" from the menu bar.
  19.    2. Select "Navigate" from the new menu bar.
  20.    3. Select the desired online application from the pull-down menu.

  22. Viewing other documents from within the ERROR RECOVERY online application

  24. You can now view, in read-only mode, the following files generated by
  25. PALASM 4 during compilation or simulation: the fitter report (Mach designs
  26. only), the simulation history file, and the simulation trace report.

  28. You can also view any text document in any disk drive installed on your
  29. system, by selecting the desired drive, directory, and filename from a
  30. specialized menu.

  33. - Viewing a PALASM 4 file
  34.    1. Select "Other" from the menu bar.
  35.    2. Select "View" from the new menu bar.
  36.    3. Select "Fitter Report," "Simulation History," or "Simulation Trace"
  37.       from the pull-down menu.

  39. - Viewing any other text file
  40.    1. Select "Other" from the menu bar.
  41.    2. Select "View" from the new menu bar.
  42.    3. Select "Other File," from the pull-down menu.
  43.    4. Use the menu shown below to select the desired file from any
  44.       directory on any disk drive.  If you have a mouse, you can
  45.       double-click on the desired filename.  From the keyboard, use
  46.       the up and down arrows to move within a list.  Use the Tab key
  47.       to move from list to list or to highlight the "Ok" and "Cancel"
  48.       buttons.  Press return to make your selection.

  66. To return to the original error recovery function (viewing individual
  67. errors and the corresponding recovery messages), select "Error Recovery"
  68. from the "View" menu.

  71. Shortcut for returning to PALASM 4 from online help

  73. As an alternative to selecting "Quit," from the online help menu bar,
  74. you can return to PALASM 4 at any time simply by pressing the F10 key.
  75. (If a dialogue box is open, you must first press Esc to close the
  76. dialogue box.)
