- OFLIN Menu: DRAW
- ==============================================================================
- Creates a line at an offset distance from the points defined by the cursor.
-
- 1. (NUM) offset of line (greater than 0)
- 2. (POINT) first point of line
- 3. * (POINT) next point of line (Alt+1 - symmetry, Alt+2 - no offset)
- Description:
- This command creates a line (wire entity) parallel to the imaginary line
- connecting the first and consecutive points, at a specified distance.
- Specify the perpendicular distance between the line and the points to be
- defined. Pick two points and a line segment is drawn between them at the
- specified distance. You are prompted for additional points until you enter
- another command. The connection between each new line to the previous line is
- resolved by the system.
- The symmetry of the offset may be switched by pressing Alt + 1. You may cancel
- the offset by pressing Alt + 2. Creation of the line will then continue as in
- the command \line.
- The line is displayed with its active attributes.
- Example: \oflin .5 0 0 0 4 4 4
- Result: A line is created parallel to an imaginary line connecting
- points 0 0 0 and 4 4 4 at a distance of 0.5m.
- NOTE: In order to remind you that you have defined an offset, the elastic line
- between the previous and current parts is of a different line type.
