  1. ELEV                                                        Menu: SOLID / VIEW

  3. Sets the display to one of the four elevational views (front, back, right,
  4. left).
  5. (A nested command in the geometric module only.)
  6. (Applicable in both geometric and solid modules.)
  7.  
  8.         1. (CHAR) options: f-front, b-back, r-right, l-left <f>
  9.  
  10. Description:
  11. This command displays an elevational view of the model. Select one of the
  12. options: `f' for front elevation (xz plane-positive direction) (the default),
  13. `b' for back elevation (xz plane-negative direction), `r' for right elevation
  14. (yz plane-negative direction) or `l' for left elevation (yz planepositive
  15. direction). If you are in automatic scaling mode, (\auto), the scale will be
  16. adjusted by the system so that the entire model fills the screen.
  17. If you are currently in the geometric module or in any of the display modes
  18. set by the \dsmod command in the solid module, the screen will be redrawn in
  19. the appropriate display mode. If you are in the solid module and the display
  20. mode is currently "off", the elevational view will not be displayed until
  21. a new display mode is specified, enabling you to execute a series of
  22. manipulations before the screen is redrawn.
