- Description
- This command attaches a predefined multi-layer wall end condition to a free
- wall end or closes a multi-layer wall end that has remained open with a simple
- line closure. (The latter may occur as a result of an adjacent wall being
- erased.)
-
- This command treats each wall end individually. To close both ends of a wall,
- you must use this command twice. The wall end that will be closed is that
- which is nearer to the cursor while the wall is being indicated.
-
- Specify whether you wish to close the wall by attaching an end condition or by
- simple closure. Indicate and confirm the wall base at a point nearer to the
- end to be closed.
-
- If you specify that you want to attach an end condition, the system will
- display one of the existing end conditions suited to the indicated wall. You
- will be asked whether the solution is acceptable. If you reply negatively the
- system will display the next solution that is active in the end-condition
- library (\elib). This will be repeated, either until you accept a solution or
- until all the solutions have been displayed, when the system will notify you
- and ask whether you wish to repeat the loop of solutions.
-
- NOTE: If the wall end to be closed is not perpendicular to the wall, the end
- condition will be attached according to the following rules:
-
- If the wall alignment axis is on the first layer or center of the wall the end
- condition will be attached at the end of the first layer.
- If the wall alignment axis is on the last layer of the wall the end condition will be
- attached at the end of the last layer.
- If you want to close the wall without attaching an end condition, the system
- will close the wall with a line at the wall end at whatever angle the end may
- be.
- If the three dimensional projection of the wall is displayed it will be erased
- but may be reprojected using the \mw3d (several walls) or \wal3d (individual
- wall) commands.
-
- You are prompted to close additional wall ends until you enter a new command.
