Description of status fields:
Maximum LUs: The maximum number of dependent LUs configured for this agent
Active LUs: The number of LUs that are in the UP-ACT or UP-BND state

attached to the host (for example, token ring, SDLC)
Host Link Status: The current state of the connection between the
server and the host (CONNECTED/DISCONNECTED)
LU: The SLUID.
T: The LU Type: either 1, 2, 3, or 6. A value of 6 corresponds to LU 6.2
UserId: Displays the first 8 characters of the name of the user or agent that is attached to the LU. If the name is too long a

Internetwork Address: The address of the user's workstation
LU Pool: The configured LU Pool for this LU, if any

Status: The current status of the 3270 workstation and host LU
UP-BND: The 3270 workstation software is loaded. In addition, the session is BOUND to an application.
UP-ACT: The 3270 workstation software is loaded. In addition, Comm Services has received an ACTLU for the session.
UP-INA: The 3270 workstation software is loaded. However, Comm Services has not received an ACTLU for the session.
DN-BND: The 3270 workstation software is not loaded. However, the session is still BOUND to an application.
DN-ACT: The 3270 workstation software is not loaded. However, Comm Services received an ACTLU for the session.
DN-INA: The 3270 workstation software is not loaded. In addition, Comm Services has not received an ACTLU for the session.

Appl_Id: The host application name for BOUND sessions.
WS Uptime: The period of time that the workstation has been logged in to NetWare Communication Services.

This menu allows you to decide how the display will appear. Options are
Display LU: Displays information starting at a specified SLUID. You will be prompted for the ID.
Display User: Displays only those LUs that a particular user is attached to. You will be prompted for the user name.
Display Pool: Displays only those LUs that belong to a particular LU pool. You will be prompted for the LU Pool name.

Show DN-INA/DN-ACT LUs: Displays all LUs, regardless of state.
Hide DN-INA/DN-ACT LUs: Suppresses those LUs that are in the DN-INA or DN-ACT state. This option is active only when status is displayed by LU, not by User or Pool.
Show Summary: Causes the Status Summary window to be displayed. If you choose this option, there is less space available to display LU status.
Hide Summary: Causes the Status Summary window to be hidden from view. This allows more LUs to be displayed.

Display LU 6.2 Status: Changes the display mode to display status
for LU 6.2 LUs. This option is displayed only if the current profile supports some dependent or independent LU 6.2 LUs.
Exit: Terminates this instance of the status utility.

Enter the hexadecimal value for the LU ID that you want to be displayed at the beginning of the window.
Press the <Insert> key to recall the last value you specified.
Enter the User ID of the user you want to display. Only LUs that the specified user is attached to will be displayed.
You may use the following wildcard characters:
? matches any single character
* matches any sequence of zero or more characters. Any user name that matches the wildcard pattern will be displayed.
To get a menu of known User IDs, press the <Insert> key. You may select a name from this list by highlighting it and pressing the <Enter> key. Do not use this option if you run with Security OFF.
Enter the Pool ID for the LU Pool that you want to display. Only LUs in the specified Pool will be displayed.
You may use the following wildcard characters:
? matches any single character.
* matches any sequence of zero or more characters.
A wildcard pattern can match more than one Pool Id. You will see all LUs in all Pools that match the pattern.
To get a menu of Pool IDs, press the <Insert> key. You may select a name from this list by highlighting it and pressing the <Enter> key.
This menu allows you to perform operations on specific LUs. All operations act on the currently selected LU, which is the one that was highlighted when you pressed <Enter> to call up this menu. Options are
Display Additional Information for LU
Displays additional information associated with the LU, including the full user name, the protocol stack that the user is using to access the server, the VTAM and/or dedicated LU name for the LU, and whether the LU is currently being traced or not.
Hard Reset LU Resets the session. The initial log-in screen is displayed, and the session must be started again.
Soft Reset LU Forces the workstation to be unbound from its host application Page 1 of 2
Start Trace Allows you to start a trace of the current LU.
Stop Trace Stops a running trace.
Display Trace Error
Displays the error condition that caused a running trace to abend. The trace is stopped, and you must view the trace error before you can start another trace on the same LU.
