  1. Using FaceLift With The MAGICorp Slide Service:

  3. "Unassign"  or unattach the MAGICorp printer driver. 
  4.  
  5. 1. Open FaceLift by double-clicking on its icon.
  6.  
  7. 2. Double-click on the Printers icon.
  8.  
  9. 3. Select MAGICorp Slide Service in the Installed Printers list.
  10.  
  11. 4. Click the radio button: Unassign SHELL-Driver.
  12.  
  13. 5. Click OK.
  14.  
  15. If the shell driver has not been unassigned, your fonts will not output 
  16. correctly and the file will be unusually large in size.
  17.  
  18. You must add the contents of NAMETABL.MGC to FaceLift's NAMETABL.INI file.
  19.  
  20. 1. Open Notepad.exe (or any text editor).
  21.  
  22. 2. Open the file NAMETABL.MGC.  NAMETABL.MGC is located on your MAGICorp 
  23.    subdirectory.
  24.  
  25. 3. Select and copy all the text to the clipboard.
  26.  
  27. 4. Open the NAMETABL.INI file located in the \windows subdirectory.
  28.  
  29. 5. Set your cursor on a new line beginning a new paragraph and paste
  30.    the contents of the clipboard.
  31.  
  32. 6. Save the file.

  34. Adding MAGICorp as a printer:
  35.  
  36. 1. Open NAMETABL.INI
  37.  
  38. 2. At the top of the file, under the section headed [PALETTES] add
  39.    the statement:
  40.    MAGICORP=
  41.  
  42. 3. Save the file.
  43.  
  44. To load MAGICorp NameTable:
  45.  
  46. 1. Open the "Name Table" icon.
  47.  
  48. 2. Select Add NameTable.
  49.  
  50. 3. Select MAGICorp.
  51.  
  52. You are now ready to use FaceLift with MAGICorp.  You need to restart windows
  53. for changes to take effect.
