  1. Thank you for trying Fractal DNA Imager 1.0 for Windows.  I hope you 
  2. find this DNA sequence analysis utility interesting and useful.

  4. INTRODUCTION
  5.  
  6. Fractal DNA Imager 1.0 is a user-friendly utility for translating 
  7. letter-based DNA sequences (i.e. ATGC) into sequence-specific fractal
  8. images.  These images facilitate the detection and characterization 
  9. of sequence patterns as well as the comparison of sequences.
  10.  
  11. Fractal DNA Imager 1.0 was programmed with Microsoft Visual Basic for 
  12. Windows 3.1x.  This program should run fine on any system running 
  13. Microsoft Windows 3.1x, however, for faster imaging a 486 processor 
  14. is recommended.

  36. INSTALLATION

  38. To install Fractal DNA Imager 1.0 onto your hard drive run SETUP.EXE 
  39. from the drive and directory where the program files are located.  
  40. The main program files will be installed to C:\FRACTDNA or the 
  41. directory of your choice.  The *.DLL and *.VBX files will be copied 
  42. to your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  These system files are necessary
  43. to run Fractal DNA Imager 1.0.

  47. Documentation and help for Fractal DNA Imager 1.0 can be accessed
  48. via the On-Line Help utility.  The Help utility can be accessed by
  49. pressing the F1 key while running Fractal DNA Imager or by running
  50. the file FRACTDNA.HLP.

  54. Fractal DNA Imager 1.0 is Shareware.  You may try this program for
  55. a time period not to exceed 30 days.  If you decide to keep the
