  2.     Welp, I didn't want to put this out yet. It's not ready.  It's also
  3. missing quite a few features that have been in the Alpha Renegade for
  4. several months, but, since I didn't have time to complete them - I had
  5. to yank them out of this copy.  I am releasing this due to a bug in the
  6. file point compensation and a security problem for people that are still
  7. allowing ordinary users to use the archive menu (which I have always said
  8. was a poor idea).

  11. 670)   The old sysop in and out strings are now "Your password" and "Your
  12.        phone number" strings.
  13.  
  14. 671)   Translating MCI's in quoted material when quoting has been removed
  15.        since apparently some users were stupid, and quoted their own password
  16.        back to people.

  18. 672)   When searching for files (either way), Renegade will now ask the
  19.        user if they want to search ALL conferences or not.

  21. 673)   New type of message base: QwkMail.  This adds origin lines and tears
  22.        to messages, but does not export or add addresses.  This is for use
  23.        with Qwk networking.

  25. 674)   File and Message scanning selection now will accept ranges of file
  26.        or message bases to toggle, and also allows easier all on/all off
  27.        selection.

  61.        flag.  Enabling it will only allow people with a Reliable connection
  62.        to use the protocol. This is for protocols like Ymodem-G that should
  63.        never be used without an error correcting modem.

  65. 684)   You can now use MCI codes in the -F (display file) cmdkeys. This will
  66.        allow you to display a separate ANSI for each message base, for example.

  68. 685)   Renegade will now exit with ERRORLEVEL 255 if you hit "Q" from the

  71. 686)   For ease of configuration and diagnostics; Renegade's WFC screen now

  77.        modem.  If the phone RINGs, however, Renegade will still pick up

  85.        "Reliable connection" string.

  88.        Renegade will look for it, and report it in the sysop logs for
  89.        each call.   If you tell Renegade to use it in the user note, Renegade
  90.        will put the caller ID number in the user's user note, IF their user
  91.        note is blank.

  93. 690)   If the modem answer string is blank, Renegade will not send anything,
  94.        and the modem's auto-answer can work instead.

  96. 691)   Renegade can also now be told to pick up on other than one ring without
  97.        using auto-answer.

  99. 692)   Renegade now supports Ringmaster, MultiRing, or other types of multiple
  100.        ring systems for sharing voice and data lines.  Turning the MultiRing
  101.        toggle on will cause Renegade only to pickup when the line "multirings"
  102.        and not on a normal ring.

  104. 693)   The "5" flag in a menu will now shut off the global commands for
  105.        that particular menu.

  107. 694)   Renegade now supports IEMSI automated logons, and automatically fills
  108.        in part of a new user's information.

  111.        to a non existant problem... might as well make all the people that
  112.        have to have every useless yet n33t0 feature happy.
