RWSHOP.EXE
==========
RWSHOP.EXE is a another "walkthrough" program, in this case the
user can enter a "Virtual Mall" and stroll around an art shop. This
program demonstrates RenderWare's applicability to "Set Top Box" and
Home Shopping applications.
The Application Controls
------------------------
Unlike the other demonstration programs included in this distribution,
movement in the 3D world is achieved by a control panel separate from
the main 3D window. The control panel is split into two sections; a
central group of six large buttons, and, to the right, a group
of three smaller buttons.
The Six Large Buttons
---------------------
Each button represents a direction of movement. Click and hold the
left mouse button down over one of the large buttons to move in the
direction indicated. When you no longer wish to move in that
direction, release the button. The six directions (indicated by
the arrows on the buttons) are; move forward, move back, step to
the left, step to the right, turn to the left and turn to the right.
The Three Small Buttons
-----------------------
The three buttons allow you to look up, down or straight ahead. Click
on the button that points up (and to the right) to look up, click on
the button that points down (and to the right) to look down and click
on the button that looks right to look straight ahead.
To move into the mall simply move toward the doors - they will open
automatically. Once inside the shop you can move around and examine
the objects. Certain of the objects can be rotated so that can be
examined more closely. Click the left mouse button over an object
in the 3D world and move the mouse horizontally. If the object can
be rotated you will see it spin. These objects (and certain other
objects in the room) can be priced. Click and hold the right mouse
button over an object in the 3D world. If the object is for sale
you will see a description and price appear. Release the right
button to remove the description.
Note, if your computer's video adapter is not running in 256 color
or 65536 color mode the description and price will not appear in the
3D window. Instead they will be shown in the status bar of the
application.
