  12. This directory contains sub-directories for various development tools to
  13. assist in the development of RenderWare applications. The "vesamode"
  14. directory contains a utility which will display all of the VESA modes
  15. available on the currently installed card. Not all of these modes will
  16. be accessible by renderware - 4 and 24 bit modes cannot be used.
  17. Also only VESA standard modes may be accessed (ie 320x200, 640x400, 640x480,
  18. 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024). Note a mode may be listed as 16 bit may be 15
  19. bit (this can be seen by 5:5:5 for red,green,blue component lengths).

  21. If you use any shareware product you should register. This will not only
  22. provide the author with the incentive to maintain and improve the product but
  23. will ensure that you have the most up to date version. Not to mention a clear
  24. conscience. Note that the UNIVBE product has already been registered for use
  25. with RenderWare. This means that you may use UNIVBE for your own use
  26. completely free of charge. You may NOT distribute UNIVBE without purchasing
  27. your own licensing agreement with SciTech Software however. UNIVBE is
  28. Copyright (C) 1993-1994 SciTech Software.
