  1. *** .COM Loader for Accolade's WINTER CHALLENGE ***

  3. This .COM loader should be used with an un-modified copy
  4. of WINTER.EXE.  (The 684,032 byte version.)  It has been 
  5. tested in VGA, EGA, & Tandy modes, and works fine under 
  6. Windows 3.0.  (You should increase the memory setting in 
  7. the WINTER.PIF by 1k, to account for the loader, and change
  8. the file specification from WINTER.EXE to WINTER.COM.)

  10. When running the INSTALL.COM program, please note that the
  11. file WINTER.COM will not be copied if you have placed it on 
  12. your diskette, as the install routine does not know of it's 
  13. existance - you must copy the file manually!  To run the setup
  14. routine, you can type WINTER /I.
  15.  
  16. This file is a LOADER and not a TSR, and restores everything
  17. it changes back to normal, so you should have no problems after
  18. running it.  It will remove the doc-check COMPLETELY.
