<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible">Define if an area is to be transparent and the intensity of this transparency.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">If you click this radio button the color in use will not be made transparent.</help:help-text> This is the default setting.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">To obtain a linearly running transparency, this option must be selected. The intensity of the transparency is adjusted </help:help-text> with the <span class="T1">Transparency</span> spin button.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">You increase or decrease transparency the view of the selected graphical object with this spin button. The field is only active if the <span class="T1">Transparency</span> mode is activated.</help:help-text> Values from 0% (opaque) to 100% (fully transparent) are possible.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">If this option has been selected you can select between different gradient types.</help:help-text> The types available and the settings possible are found in the area <span class="T1">Transparency gradient</span>.</p>
<p class="Head3">Gradient</p>
<p class="Paragraph">If the transparency option selected is a <span class="T1">Transparency gradient</span>, use the area of the same name to define the settings in detail.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Selected the required type from the list box.</help:help-text> You can choose between "Linear", "Radial", "Axial", "Ellipsoid", "Quadratic" and "Square".</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">For some of the transparency gradients (e.g. quadratic) you can set by how much the center of the color gradient is to be moved on the X axis.</help:help-text> The usable scale is from 0 % to 100 % with the gradient under 50 % moving to the left and above moving to the right.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">For some of the transparency gradients (e.g. quadratic) you can set by how much the center of the color gradient is to be moved on the Y axis.</help:help-text> The usable scale is from 0 % to 100 % with the gradient under 50 % moving to the left and above moving to the right.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">In order to be able to set the angle for the color gradient enter a value between 0┬░ and 360┬░ into this spin box.</help:help-text> This field can be used for any of the types.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">If the color gradient is to be given a border, enter its size as perentage here. Depending on the type selected, the border will be displayed differently. The spin box is available for all types.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Enter a value for the transparency intensity at the beginning of the color gradient into this field.</help:help-text> This value must show at least 0 %. This value is also used as the default.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Enter a value for the transparency gradient in this spin box.</help:help-text> The value can show a maximum of 100 %. The default value is the maximum one.</p>
