  18.   <p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="System" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="UNIX">Linux / NetBSD: Use the dead keys. In a xterm window, press the ┬┤ or ` key. The character should not appear on your screen. Now press, for example, the letter "e". The "e" should now appear with either the "├¿" or "├⌐" accent . If not, check the XF86Config file and replace the "nodeadkey" XkdbVariant if it is loaded. It is also possible the SAL_NO_DEADKEYS configuration variable is active, which disables the use of your dead keys.</help:case></help:switch></p>
  19.   <p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="System" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="UNIX">All Unix- Systems: (AltGr) as additional Compose key. The (AltGr) key functions in OpenOffice.org are similar to the Compose key if you set the SAL_ALTGR_COMPOSE configuration variable. First press (AltGr), then the first modifier, and then the second modifier. The characters will be merged on the Solarys system as described in the file /usr/openwin/include/X11/Suncompose.h.</help:case></help:switch></p>

  21.   <p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click in the combo box and choose one of the installed fonts.</help:help-text> The first time you activate the dialog, a predefined font, e.g. Times New Roman, is displayed. The next time you open the dialog, the last selected font will be displayed. You will not be able to choose a font if you call the dialog from a text input field.</p>
