Subject: Collecting Usenet Messages
To collect usenet messages select from the menus Service, Usenet, Read Messages From Newsgroups.
Next time you connect to CIX this will collect all the new messages in the newsgroups you have subscribed to.
You can schedule this action to occur every time you connect using the Tools, Scheduling, Set routine options.
For greater control over collecting newsgroup messages including header collection (and subsequent full message collection of marked messages) and automatic get/kill file processing based on header information we suggest that you use a true Internet feed. You can expand your CIX account to a CIXIP one that does give you a true Internet feed. A message to sales@compulink.co.uk should give you more information about the costs involved.
Once you do that you can setup a CIXIP service using the Internet Wizard and collect/send POP3 mail as well as usenet messages with header mode and Kill/Get file capability.
