  1. To make this GO:
  2.  
  3. Unzip to c:\games\quake\tcpip
  4. Edit the config.sys and autoexec.bat accordingly then move em to your root.
  5. Edit the dialer.ppp (add your login/password and other logon stuuf)
  6. Then reboot msdos with the new autoexec.bat and config.sys
  7. Then run the tcpip.bat
  8.  
  9. If you've done everything right you should get no errors while it loads
  10. and it will connect and log you in.
  11. You're up and running if it displays your IP.
  12.  
  13. Then go to the quake dir.
  14. Run quake.
  15. Once in it type: connect "the.ip.where.you.are.playing"
  16. BTW ID's T3 dedicated server (in dallas *SIGH*) is 192.246.40.34
