  4.   This  concludes  our  discussion of features included in CBOOK,
  5. your COOKBOOK-ON-DISK program.  As we mentioned earlier, however,
  6. every  BOOK-ON-DISK  also  operates  with  CDA's advanced library
  7. manager and meal planning program MICRO KITCHEN COMPANION.

  9.   Your  BOOK-ON-DISK  contains  information  that  links  it to a
  10. collection of thousands of recipes from chefs all over the world.
  11. While every title is complete and contains all  of  the  features
  12. noted in the previous chapters, the link is  established  through
  13. the Micro Kitchen Companion.

  15.   CDA  publishes  this  program for cooks who want more than your
  16. BOOK-ON-DISK  can offer alone.  Based on the same straightforward
  17. menu structure as CBOOK,  Micro  Kitchen  Companion  is  easy  to
  18. learn.  It contains some features, however, that require  a  good
  19. understanding of CBOOK and menu planning to fully appreciate.

  21.   With  CBOOK,  this  program,  each  title  in  your  collection
  22. consists of two parts  --  the  CBOOK  program  and  the  recipes
  23. themselves.   CBOOK  can work with any BOOK-ON-DISK one disk at a
  24. time.

  26.   Micro  Kitchen Companion is a program, like CBOOK.  But, it can
  27. work with thousands of recipes at  one  time,  from  hundreds  of
  28. cookbooks, and even let you add your own to the collection.

  30.   Micro  Kitchen  Companion  also  lets  you  automatically  move
  31. individual recipes or sets of recipes around.  It lets you plan a
  32. meal  from  as  many  COOKBOOKS-ON-DISK  as  you  have  in   your
  33. collection at once, and it can later recall any meal you  choose,
  34. directing  you to place in the appropriate disk as it prints your
  35. meal for you -- recipes, notes, shopping list and all!

  37.   Micro  Kitchen Companion is designed to grow with you.  To take
  38. advantage of new computer equipment (fixed disks for example) and
  39. new  uses  that  you develop as your experience grows.  And it is
  40. designed to be affordable -- costing less than a word  processor,
  41. database manager or spreadsheet alone ,but incorporating the best
  42. of all of these for the serious cook.
