  1. Procedure for installing upto 10 of the 14 SuperK and JBatch protocols into 
  2. WildCat! 
  3.  
  4. All that is  required  is  to  copy  SUPERK.COM,  SUPERK.000,  SKJ.COM  and 
  5. CMODEM.EXE  into your WILDCAT\PROTOCOL directory and all of the batch files 
  6. into your WILDCAT directory...  start up MAKEWILD and designate the various 
  7. protocols as follows: 
  8.  
  9.   1)  Select page 8 and hit F1
  10.  
  11.   2)  Hit [Enter] twice to advance to 3. Number of External Protocols
  12.  
  13.   3)  Since  Wildcat!  will  only  support  10 external protocols,  you can 
  14.       eliminate the use of SuperK's single file protocols which are already 
  15.       supported (Xmodem Checksum, Xmodem CRC, Ymodem (1K Xmodem).  enter 10 
  16.       for this value.

  18.   4)  Hit F1
  19.  
  20.   5)  Select page 18 and hit F1
  21.  
  22.   6)  Define your protocols as follows

  37.   7)  Save your new configuration and exit to DOS
  38.  
  39.   8)  You  can  now  delete  the WXMODEM.COM and JMODEM.COM files from your 
  40.       PROTOCOL directory as both of these single file  mode  protocols  are 
  41.       supported by your new SuperK driver! 
  42.  
  43.   9)  There are a few items that must be configured within SuperK...
  44.  
  45.        a) Startup SuperK as  SUPERK @
  46.  
  47.        b) Press  G
  48.  
  49.        c) Press  H
  50.  
  51.        d) The  default  colors  for  Jmodem  are  Black  text  on  a  White
  52.           background  and  are "hard coded" as such.  If you wish to change 
  53.           the default colors,  press C and make your selection for each  of 
  54.           the 7 color schemes.
  55.  
  56.        e) Once you have completed your modifications, hit Enter and input a
  57.           Y  to  the "Ready to Save" prompt.  SuperK will clone itself with 
  58.           the new settings and return you to the DOS prompt. 
  59.  
  60.        You  may  start  up  SuperK  with the @ parameter at any time if you 
  61.        simply want to check the settings.  A new clone will not be produced 
  62.        (or prompted for) unless you actually make modifications to  any  of 
  63.        the settings.

  65.  10)  Be sure to post the SK&J####.ZIP and K9X.ZIP files for your users!
  66.  
  67.  11)  Be sure to read the SUPERK Doc files so that you  can  help your 
  68.       users!
