- This is PRODHP13, the Prodigy Help utilities. It is a
- collection of utilities written by members of Prodigy or
- found on bulletin boards.
- Most of these programs are shareware, please contribute
- to the authors of the the programs you use... (thanks)
- The following is a list of programs included in PRODHP13:
-
- PRO-UTIL.COM - The main file program in PRODHP13, it lets you
- print screens, print to disk, create macros, change the
- WORKING icon into a clock, and much more. Read the file
- PRO-UTIL.DOC for information on running this program.
- If you have questions, contact the author: Pete Royston.
- Pete's Prodigy ID is DBRK81A.
-
- PROSETUP.EXE - The setup program for PRO-UTIL.COM. If you have
- questions, contact Pete Royston (DBRK81A).
-
- TST.EXE - A program that lets you exit prodigy and return to DOS,
- run any program, and then return to prodigy by typing EXIT at
- the DOS prompt. It takes you back right where you left off in
- Prodigy. (Don't stay out for over 1/2 hour, or you will be
- disconnected from Prodigy.) Read the file TST.DOC for more
- information. This file needs upwards of 750k of disk space to
- save its information, you can only run it from a hard disk.
- To install the program, you need to edit the file P.BAT and
- remove the REM before the line REM TST /M476 and the REM before
- the line REM TST /U
- Do not attempt to use TST when your modem is busy talking to
- Prodigy. If you have an external modem, make sure the send and
- receive lights (SD and RD) are not flashing. If you have an internal
- modem, wait about 20 seconds after your last Prodigy command before
- attempting to shell with TST. (Wait 40 seconds if you have a 1200
- baud modem.)
- If you need help with TST, please contact the authors on Prodigy
- at CNFN13E.
-
- STOCK.COM - A program that lets you take a quote track that you
- have printed to a file and convert the stocks into a format that
- can be used in lotus, etc. For information on this program,
- please read STOCK.DOC. If you have any questions, please contact
- the author: William Hillman Jr. on Prodigy at MDPP22A.
-
- BAC.COM - A program from PC Magazine that lets you copy files that
- have been changed. This is handy if you want to run Prodigy from
- a RAM disk. You can have BAC copy the files on the RAM disk that
- have changed, back to the hard disk. Read the file BAC.DOC for
- more information.
- If you have questions about BAC, contact Ron Ladne on Prodigy at
- DBBC03A.
-
- When you upload PRODHP13.ZIP to a bulletin board, please message
- Pete Davis (CPSR96A) and let him know the phone number.
