- You may enter the number or the filename of a file you would like
- to read. If it is an ASCII text file, it will be displayed. Files
- that have .DOC, .TXT, .ME extensions are usually ASCII text files.
- There are many other types of text files such as source code files,
- which may also be displayed. Binary files can not be displayed.
-
- You may download files from the archive. To download a single file,
- just enter its filename or number. To download multiple files, use
- the [M]ark feature and mark the files you want to download. When
- you're ready to download them, select [D]ownload and [M]arked. A
- temporary archive (AVIEWTMP.???) will be created using the apropriate
- extractor/archiver with the files you have marked. For large single
- files, you may wish to mark them so they will be archived before you
- download them.
-
- Protocols supported are XmodemCRC, YmodemBatch, and Zmodem.
-
- You may relist the filenames in the archive by selecting [L]ist.
- This will show you the filenames, their sizes, and whether or not
- they are marked.
