  3.     GateKeeper 2.1 for ppp2.2
  4.     GateKeeper is a graphical user interface control for ppp2.2.
  5.

  7. RELEASE NOTES
  8.  
  9.    German localization was updated in the final Beta and
  10.    has not been tested extensively.   
  11.  
  12.    2.1 is the last release which will support the current
  13.    DNS based Dial on Demand.  If you want this feature you
  14.    must download the DoD version of the 2.0 distribution.
  15.    Future versions will be tightly integrated with ppp2.3
  16.    and employ ppp's demand feature.
  17.  
  18.    In future releases GateKeeper will be tightly integrated
  19.    with ppp2.3 and will therefore not be user configurable
  20.    as a GUI frontend to other ppp packages.

  30.     While this program is GNU type freeware, support for it is not.
  31.     Comments and bug reports are always welcome, but if you would
  32.     like support the following applies:

  34.       1.  If you are a non-commercial user and are doing some type
  35.           of FSF GNU or other freeware work for the UNIX community
  36.           let me know and we'll call it even.  The same is true if 
  37.           you provide software free to single non-commercial users 
  38.           or if you have contributed to the creation of GateKeeper.

  41.           by sending in a one time registration fee of $20 USD.

  65.         information from a GateKeeper document
  66.     --  AutoRedial if provider's line is busy.
  67.     --  Manual Dial and login to a ppp provider without a script.

  69.         provider if the connection is unexpectedly dropped.
