  39.   - HNNews works on NEXTSTEP 3.3 or OPENSTEP 4.0 or 4.1.

  45.   - Multi Tasking : You can see already downloaded articles while
  46.     downloading new article headers, or new article bodies. And you
  47.     can download articles from many news servers at the same time.

  49.   - Graphical environment : You can see threaded article's follow-ups
  50.     graphically. And you can set article for retrieval, lock,
  51.     watch-thread, ignore-thread with clicking its icon or menu, and
  52.     HNNews shows articles status by color and icon. You can do many
  53.     things by tool-bar icons which show you BUBBLE help. And HNNews
  54.     has Gradient background, and gradient titlebar. And HNNews can
  55.     show progress graphically.

  57.   - Saving downloaded articles to database : Every time you navigate
  58.     usenet, HNNews will save downloaded articles, so next time you start
  59.     HNNews, you don't need to reload already downloaded article
  60.     headers or bodies. If you navigate news server by modem, HNNews
  61.     saves a lot of money for you!

  63.   - Easy to use and fast to go : HNNews's menu was sorted well, so
  64.     even beginner can use very easily. And if you set simple header
  65.     mode, HNNews retrieve only necessary infomation from server by 
  66.     testing simple header mode automatically. (Eg: XOVER, XHDR, HEAD)
  67.     You don't need to know what kind of server daemon your news server
  68.     has. (Eg: innd, nntpd, etc) And you can navigate HNNews by
  69.     key-binding.

  72.     thread-ignore, purging and lots of preferences that you can set,
  73.     multi windows for each server will make you more powerful

  77.     articles at offline. You can switch online, offline by clicking 
  78.     button, it's very easy!

  80.   - Multi-langauge support : Each newsgroup can have its own
  81.     langugae, which may have its own fontset and decoding, encoding
  82.     method. For example, you can see English newsgroups with English
  83.     fonts, and Japanese newsgroups with Japanese fonts. HNNews will
  84.     help you to see all the newsgroups with different codesets.

  86.   - MIME and UUDecode binary articles : HNNews can decode MIME encoded
  87.     article, and show MIME binary in internal Article Text.
  88.     And you can extract binary files by unpacking or uudecoding binary
  89.     files with external "munpack" program. After extracting binary
  90.     files, HNNews will launch proper viewer of that file types
  91.     directly. And HNNews can decode multi-parted binary articles.
