  16. Complete Access v2.0 PR3 Release Notes
  17. --------------------------------------
  18. Complete Access v2.0 is mostly finished, but several aspects of
  19. these tools have not yet been fully ported from the NEXTSTEP-based
  20. Complete Access v1.x.  We will finish porting these features, and
  21. fix the remaining bugs in the coming weeks.

  23. Bugs:
  24. - Variable-height records in hierarchical reports do not work
  25. - The overflow-page feature for forms does not work
  26. - Form letters need more work.
  27. - If you pass record objects to Complete Access in your custom applications, 
  28.   all primary and foriegn key values must be declared as class properties.
  29.  
  30. Unimplemented Features:
  31. - Aggregate components have not been fully ported from Complete Access v1.x
  32. - Text cells for text graphic objects and form  letters have not been implemented.
  33. - Flattened Relationships are not currently supported
  34. - EOModelGroups are not currently supported.

  37. - The HTML worksheet graphic will not be included in Complete Access v2.0

  43. Installing the applications and framework on Windows NT
  44. -------------------------------------------------------
  45. The following are the instuctions required to install the 
  46. Complete Access frameworks and applications on a Windows NT 
  47. system with OpenStep 4.1 or OpenStep 4.2.
  48.  
  49. 1. Uncompress the CompleteAccess.2.0pr3.w.I.tar.gz file using the 
  50.    following commands:
  51.     gunzip CompleteAccess.2.0pr3.w.I.tar.gz
  52.     tar -xf CompleteAccess.2.0pr3.w.I.tar
  53. 2. Verify that three items are in the resulting CompleteAccess folder:
  54.     - CompleteAccess.app
  55.     - CompleteAccessIB.palette
  56.     - NeXT
  57. 3. Move the contents of the CompleteAccess/NeXT/NextLibrary/Executables
  58.    folder to the /NeXT/NextLibrary/Executables folder on your
  59.    Windows NT system.
  60. 4. Move the contents of the CompleteAccess/NeXT/NextLibrary/Frameworks
  61.    folder to the /NeXT/NextLibrary/Frameworks folder on your
  62.    Windows NT system.
  63. 5. Move the CompleteAccess/CompleteAccess.app and 
  64.    CompleteAccess/CompleteAccessIB.app to any location on your file
  65.    system.
