  4. @image (pronounced \at-'im-ij\) is a network presentation graphics
  5. package that produces high-quality slides for on-line or printed
  6. presentations and documents.  @image combines interesting design tools
  7. with advanced presentation features in a way that professionals, not
  8. just programmers or designers, can easily use.  Most importantly,
  9. @image is one of the first applications to fully utilize the power of
  10. NEXTSTEP's distributed object technology.  Using distributed objects,
  11. speakers can personally deliver their presentations over a network to
  12. local or world-wide audiences.

  14. Slides can contain Rich Text, Images, Sounds and an assortment of
  15. graphic objects.  Slides also have a speaker notes component which
  16. allows you to attach private comments to each slide.

  18. Once completed slide shows can be printed, displayed on screen, sent
  19. out to video (on a NeXTdimension system) or presented over the network
  20. to other machines running @image.
