  5.  What is it?

  7. This is a screensaver module for use with Samuel
  8. Streeper's BackSpace application.  You must already
  9. have installed BackSpace.app on your system prior to
  10. installing this module.  BackSpace.app may be available
  11. via anonymous ftp from the archives at cs.orst.edu or
  12. nova.cc.purdue.edu, but I haven't been able to find it.

  14.  What does it look like?

  16. GlobeSaver displays an equatorial view of the spinning
  17. Earth.  The Earth rotates once every 2 seconds.  As it
  18. rotates, the Earth glides across the screen in straight
  19. arcs, bouncing off the screen boundaries.

  21. The Earth image has been generated from topographic
  22. data, with negative elevations colored in shades of blue
  23. and positive elevations in shades of green and brown.  The
  24. artistic credit goes to John Stevenson of TRW.
