  4. I love Yap. Besides its all I've got.
  5.  
  6. I have gotten used to some of the Emacs bindings, and I'm always
  7. wanting to just execute some Postscript code without having to copy
  8. it, find Yap, launch it, paste it in... blah blah blah. The stock 
  9. Yap doesn't allow this.

  11. Since the Yap source is available... I made some small changes...
  12.  
  13. - added the EmacsText object from the MiniExample TextORama (available
  14. from ftp.next.com:/pub/NeXTanswers
  15. - added a Services command, so you can open the selection in another
  16. program in Yap easily
  17. - added some 'file types' to the attributes, so you have the option
  18. of .eps .ps or .font files opening in Yap instead of some other
  19. program.

  21. There is still lots I'd like to do, but this is how far I've gotten.
  22. Time is a very precious resource.
  23. - be able to print the YapOutput window
  24. - be able to save the YapOutput window as a TIFF file
  25. - step though the Postscript code one line at a time
  26. - display the stack, any output values from the Postscript
  27.  
  28. However, if you have done any of this, or want to do any of it,
  29. feel free to send me your changes!  I'll include them with mine.
