  1. The binary and patch included in this archive are that Intel users can use the
  2. csound sound synthesis package. This is also required if Intel users would want
  3. to use Csnd.app a graphical front-end to csound.

  5. Once the patches are applied it may not compile clean for Motorola users prior
  6. to 3.1.

  8. The csound source package can be obtained from cecelia.media.mit.edu:/pub/Csound/csbeta.

  10. If you want to compile you own binary apply the patch supplied then follow
  11. the directions of the README in the csound archive.

  13. Be advised that once these patches are applied it may not compile clean on
  14. pre 3.1 systems.
