  6. SUMMARY

  8. This Installer.app package includes the base macros and formats for
  9. LaTeX2e.  This installation does not include any of the standard LaTeX2e
  10. packages, they are included in a separate Installer.app package named
  11. LaTeX2ePackages.
  12.  
  13. This package does not do the entire installation.   You will need to
  14. modify TEXINPUTS to include   if you are to use latex2e.  For example,
  15. in csh, issue the command (I separated the process into steps for
  16. illustration purposes only).

  18. setenv STDINPUTS /NextLibrary/TeX/tex/inputs
  19. setenv LATEXINPUTS /LocalLibrary/TeX/tex/latex
  20. setenv TEXINPUTS .:${LATEXINPUTS}:${STDINPUTS}

  22. in cshrc.std, .cshrc, or whatever.  If installing both AMSTeX and LaTeX2e,
  23. the TEXINPUTS environment variable should be set as
