  1. This is the source of dvitool 0.9 which is part of my XView v.3.1 for the NeXT
  2. shareware distribution. Dvitool is an OpenLook style DVI previewer and it's
  3. purpose is to demonstrate the usage of some of the XView objects and routines.

  6. You will need a working X11R4/R5 and XView v.3.1 distribution to compile
  7. the sourcecode. The dvitool source has been successfully compiled on the 
  8. following platforms: 
  9.  
  10.         Sun, Acorn, NeXT and a PC running Linux.
  11.  
  12.     (With best behaviour found on Sun Sparcs. Did somebody 
  13.      expected something else ? - That's the way of cookie crumbles!)

  15. But be forewarned, the source is a quick and dirty hack based on xdvi!!!

  31. - extracted  6.5 MB  (yes indeed, the bad boy is the project docu)

  35. If you need a XView distribution for the NeXT, try out my shareware
  36. distribution (black hardware only). It should be found on most NeXT
  37. ftp-servers as "XViewNeXT.tar.gz" somewhere under the X11 stuff.
