  76. put in, like automatic sorting and field replication (that means that the "Title" you type on the Acquisitions card shows up on the Catalog card and the Circulation card as well, to save on the amount of typing you have to do), are just extras.  We wanted to have OPEN STACK first be able to do everything a non-automated library could do before we started thinking about computer-y stuff.
