  34. WWWWAIS is a small ANSI C program that acts as gateway between waisq
  35. or waissearch (programs that search WAIS indexes) and a forms-capable
  36. World-Wide Web browser. With the freely distributable freeWAIS package,
  37. this program, and your local Web site, you can:

  39.  * Create searchable databases of the information on your Web site
  40.  * Allow users to search multiple databases via their
  41.    Web browser with customizable options
  42.  * Create a custom pop-up menu of servers to search through
  43.  * Produce hypertext search results, with file information and links
