-
-
- NetMaze is a freeware multiplayer network game.
- It wasn't really meant to be a game in the first place,
- it was just to test some IPX-code. However, people seemed
- to like the idea in the game, so here it is.
- Hopy you enjoy it !!!
-
- This game was created with Tasm 4.0 and Turbo Pascal 7.0
- Netmaze is a tribute to the greatest computer through
- history - The Commodore 64 - it will live on forever.
-
- System Requirements : 80386 or above, VGA, 320 kb ram,
- about 60 kb of harddisk space,
- a netcard (surprise!).
-
- Type "Netmaze3 ?" for more options.
- You can use minus and plus on the numeric keyboard to
- change the soundvolume in NetMaze 3.7
-
- New in version 3.7 : 1. Improved Cpu speed checking.
- 2. New bonus - super shield!
- 3. Dead players now start with a
- small shield so they don't die
- right away again - some people complained
- about this but it's fixed now.
- 4. Digital Sound FX! Netmaze will
- autodetect your soundcard and try
- to use it (soundblaster, soundblaster 16
- or compatibles) for some sound effects.
- You can turn it off if you want to -
- type "netmaze3 ?" to see how.
- 5. Various bug fixes - some collision
- detection code is improved.
- 6. New Cheat codes !!
- ( They are pretty hard to find, though)
-
- Additional Credits : Sound code - Bells & Whistles 1.20
- by Edward Schlunder.
- Improved Cpu speed detection code -
- by Vladimir Zakharychev (thanks!)
