- An IBM PC, XT, AT, PS/2 or a 100% compatible with at least 512K of system
- ram, a VGA graphics card and at least 500,000 bytes of free hard disk Space.
- Recommend a 286 or higher processor with enhanced keyboard.

- The scenario editor allows you to make custom scenarios that you can load
- into Matrix and play.

- Enter Senedit at the DOS prompt.
-
- The keyboard is the only available input device used for the scenario editor
- and the following keys are available :
-
- / - Main Menu
- 8 - Move up.
- 4 5 6 - Move left, place or remove block, move right.
- 2 - Move down.
-

- < \/ > - Move cursor, highlight menu selections.
-
- Spacebar - Make menu selection /place or remove block.
-
- Esc - Bring up scenario's Main Menu.

- Here's the options available on the main menu :
-
- () Open - Load in an existing scenario to edit.
- () New - Resets Scenario Editor.
- () Save - Save the existing scenario under the current name.
- () Save As - Save the existing scenario under a better name
- () Descrip - Add a description to the scenario.
- () Options - Allows you to set game play elements, like the level.
- (see Gameplay Options Menu)
- () ClearPit - When your fed up with the latest design.
- () Fill Pit - No room for anymore blocks!
- () Exit Menu - Oops!
- () Quit - Leave this great program for DOS.

- Once selected from the main menu. Use the arrow keys to highlight the
- selection and the spacebar to change it. To leave this area press the "Esc"
- key. The following options can be set :
-
- () level - Scenario will start at this level.
- () Block Type - Carved or Block
- () Sound - Off is good at night.
-
- These options will become effective when the scenario is loaded.

- ---------------------
- Think your scenarios are cool? Let them be played. E-mail them in! I will
- include the best twenty five scenarios with the next release of Matrix and
- include your name on the credits screen!

- All entrees sent in will be available through AOL and Compuserve in a
- separated file following the latest release of Matrix. The file will
- be called scenaros.zip and will include a text file containing the authors
- name for each scenario. Include any information you wish to be present when
- your scenario is credited. For instance, your occupation, Country, and
- State may be some contributed information. You may include a quote such as
- the one shown below. The following will be the basic format for the text
- file:

- Scenario - Matrix Scenario
- Descrip - The official Matrix Scenario
- Author - Tim Truman
- Occupation - PC Programmer
- Country - USA
- State - MA
- Quote - "Programmers can keep it up all night."
- (Additional information will go below this line.)

- If any information is omitted then the credit will appear as such:

- Scenario - The snake
- Descrip - Chop 'em up
- Author - Joe smith
- Quote - Next time your in Arizona visit Snakes-n-Shakes for a great meal.

- The quote would also be included in the Matrix credits screen should you
- be one of the selected. It can be of any reasonable length you wish to make
- it.

- Any additional information you wish to include is not bound to any format
- and should be in the form you would like it to be seen. What ever it may be,
- providing it is of reasonable length and not offensive, will appear in the
- text file included to credit the scenario entrees.
