  1. Viewer (for 95, 98, and NT):

  3. The X-Sums 98 Viewer allows you to solve the More-or-
  4. Less Weekly Cross Sums puzzles, either on your computer
  5. or in hard copy form via your printer.
  6.  
  7. Please make sure that you are using a revision of the
  8. viewer that is mentioned on the More-or-Less Weekly
  9. Puzzle page before attempting to load the puzzle into
  10. it.  Any full version should be able to view the
  11. puzzles, as well.
  12.  
  13. The Viewer also has 12, built-in puzzles:  6, 11x13
  14. puzzles, 2 of each difficulty level;  and 6, 13x15
  15. puzzles, 2 of each difficulty level.  Stretch or shrink
  16. the window until you get to whichever size you desire;
  17. Go to the Options menu and click on the difficulty level
  18. you desire;  Then go to the File menu and click on New.
  19. Click on New, again, to get to the other puzzle of the
  20. same size and difficulty level.  See the Help|Contents
  21. menu for more on-line help.

  25. You may also purchase a license for the Full Version of
  26. X-Sums 98 for only $19.95 plus $3.00 shipping and
  27. handling.  (S+H can be avoided if I can email the full
  28. version to you.)  The full version can generate an
  29. unlimited number of Cross Sums puzzles.

  31. If you are ordering from outside the U.S.A., please send
  32. $19.95 in U.S. funds along with your e-mail address.  I
  33. can ONLY do foreign order via email.  Thanks!

  35. The license agreement is worded exactly the same way as
  36. the Viewer's license agreement, but please note that
  37. there ARE some parts of it that pertain only to one or
  38. the other.

  43. Full Version (for 95, 98, and NT):

  45. The Full Version of X-Sums 98 is just like the Viewer
  46. except that it is capable of generating an unlimited
  47. number of Cross Sums puzzles from 8x10 up to 50x50.  All
  48. of the More-or-Less Weekly Cross Sums puzzles are gen-
  49. erated by the Full Version.  Simply resize the window or
  50. click on File|New to generate a new puzzle.
