  7. YOU DON'T KNOW JACK can be played on any 486- or 586-based PC
  8. running Windows 3.1, Windows 95 or Windows NT. YOU DON'T KNOW
  9. JACK is compatible with Windows NT 3.5 and Windows NT 4.0.

  11. To play YOU DON╒T KNOW JACK Volume 3 on a Windows PC, you must have:

  13. - Windows 95, Windows 3.1x, or Windows for Workgroups
  14. - 486SX 66MHz processor or faster (486/66 or faster recommended)
  15. - 16MB free RAM
  16. - 28MB of free hard disk space
  17. - 2X (or faster) CD-ROM drive
  18. - Video display capable of at least 640x480 resolution with 256 colors
  19. - Sound Blaster 16 or compatible 16-bit multimedia sound card

  21. YOU DON╒T KNOW JACK Volume 3 does not run on any 386 or earlier CPUs.

  25. =============================================
  26. YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Volume 3 performs best when your video 
  27. display is set to 256 colors. Some PC hardware may not be fast 
  28. enough to play the game well in higher color video modes.

  30. If you experience sound or video performance problems with YOU 
  31. DON'T KNOW JACK Volume 3, please make sure that neither the 
  32. Microsoft Office Toolbar, the Norton Navigator Task Bar, nor any 
  33. similar utility, is running when you run YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Volume 3.
  34. These utilities can negatively effect the performance of many games.
  35.  
  36. Tip: You can temporarily disable most Windows utilities by 
  37. holding down the shift key while Windows is loading. These 
  38. utilities will launch normally the next time you restart Windows. 
  39.  
  40. If you still experience sound stuttering, make sure that you have
  41. installed the latest drivers for your sound card. Contact the
  42. manufacturer of your sound card for more information on the
  43. availability of driver updates. Updates can usually be downloaded
  44. for free from the World Wide Web or from your manufacturer's own
  45. electronic bulletin board.
