- 1.31.4 --- 29 April 1993
- ------------------------
-
- TMail created the MSGID field, it was created as a means of
- providing a reliable return address for messages. It was never
- a duplicate detector or any other thing that people have
- perverted it to be regardless of whether it has an FTS number
- or not.
-
- This version of TMail does not add MSGID lines to messages
- created by TMail.
-
- I have fiddled with other things but can't remember now
- what, mainly fixing funny mites.
-
- 1.31.3 --- 24 January 1993
- --------------------------
-
- o Missed advising the user if an ordinary (as opposed to QSO)
- netmail message failed. The -qsousermsg decides for all
- messages whether the user will be advised of failed netmail
- attempts.
-
- o The BoardParm Statement PathLoop was omitted from the sample
- file.
-
- o If an arcmail file failed to unpack properly TMail would leave
- the packets that were unpacked OK (unless there was additional
- mail to process) .. any packets will be processed even though
- the arc itself may have been corrupt.
-
- 1.31.2 --- 1 January 1993
- -------------------------
-
- o Fixed missing description of the KDUP parameter in TM.CTL
-
- o Fiddled with some message attribute bits for those who insist
- upon using SEADOG mode (why people still use this is beyond me)
-
- o Added QSO Netmail support, refer to QSONM.doc for information
-
- o New parameters (mainly for QSO support);
-
- -qsonetmail -noqsonetmail
- -qsousermsg -noqsousermsg
- -netmailvalid -nonetmailvalid
-
- 1.31.1 --- 11 December 1992
- ---------------------------
-
- o Fixed a problem where echomail that was marked as 'crash' was being
- written to the netmail directory rather than outbound packets
-
- o Fixed an oldie but goodie, if the netmail area had one message and it
- had a number like 22739 TMail would scan 22738 non-existant messages
- to find the first one <sigh>
-
- o Added a new option -nokludge which will nuke all fidonet control-a
- lines from a message before importing it to TBBS, this together with
- -nohist will cause TMail to only import user readable text into the
- TBBS message base saving up to 30% of normal message size.
-
- Please note! - I have not tested this option :->
-
- o Fixed error in sample control file for TBBS netmail board definition.
-
- o TBBS seems to be writing some real rubbish headers at times since QSO
- TMail will try and detect these and will print the message number and
- stop cold, you will need to delete, mfsqz and then restart processing.
- Please note if there are 10 bad messages TMail will crash 10 times so
- check a few messages after the one that is reported.
