  5.      CHANGE IN SUPPORT STATUS

  8.      Although this change was made with the PREVIOUS release (v3.10), it
  9.      is still recent enough that we should probably mention it here.
  10.  
  11.      Personal commitments are forcing Chip Morrow to lessen his involvement
  12.      somewhat in the development of the Mail Manager projects, and to shut
  13.      down Mail Manager's home support bulletin board.  The lion's share of
  14.      Mail Manager development is being carried forward by the other half of
  15.      the team, Doug Wilson, under the new banner of Makai Software.  Both
  16.      Chip and Doug will continue to provide program support.

  18.      The following RBBS-PC boards are now the official Makai Software
  19.      Distribution Sites.  First time callers may bypass new user
  20.      registration hassles and download Mail Manager, MNET, and other Makai
  21.      Software files by logging on with the username and password
  22.      combinations listed for each board:

  45.        daily) basis, and will answer questions left on or netmailed to any
  46.        of them.  The Mother Board, being a local call for us, gets the most
  47.        attention and is probably the place to get the fastest response.
  48.        Please leave messages as PUBLIC so that whichever of us calls first
  49.        will be able to see them.  The sysops of the two Distribution Boards
  50.        are both experienced with Mail Manager, and may be able to handle some
  51.        of your questions without help from Chip or me.

  76.      SO, WHAT ELSE IS NEW?

  79.      MAIL MANAGER +PLUS+ v3.11 is an update to the version 3 series.
  80.  
  81.      Changes since the release of v3.10:
  82.  
  83.      1)  Fixed bug which required pressing "Q" or <enter> multiple times 
  84.          when attempting to exit message pointer setting screens under
  85.          some conditions.
  86.  
  87.      2)  Violation notice prints name of intended conference as well as
  88.          conference number.
  89.  
  90.      3)  No longer goes thru countdown timer before exiting from export
  91.          mode (/o command line option).
  92.  
  93.      4)  Updated MAILCFG.EXE, CFG2TXT.EXE, and TXT2CFG.EXE to implement
  94.          sysop configurable "show empty conferences" choice are included
  95.          this time (versions included with v3.10 failed to support this
  96.          option).

  98.      5)  Updated to be 4D point aware for *.MSG netmail areas.  Also
  99.          supports "fakenet" addressing.  MAILCFG, CFG2TXT, and TXT2CFG
  100.          all updated accordingly.

  102.      6)  When following the prompts and posting *.MSG netmail messages,
  103.          now accepts input for destination address ONLY in the following
  104.          format:

  106.                Zone:Net/Node[.Point]
  107.  
  108.          All previous versions prompted you separately for Zone, Net,
  109.          and node.  Crashmail addressed to a point is sent to that
  110.          system's host (.0).  The host's software then takes care of
  111.          routing the message off to the individual point on his system.
  112.          Normal *.MSG netmail messages addressed to a point are handled
  113.          by your Fido scan/pack software in whatever way you have
  114.          configured it.

  116.      7)  [F1] help added to MAILCFG conference edit screen.
  117.  
  118.      8)  Non-selected conferences not shown when choosing conference in
  119.          which to R)ead or P)ost.
  120.  
  121.      9)  Now shows zone in netmail conferences when reading netmail
  122.          *.MSG areas online within the door.
  123.  
  124.     10)  R)ead and P)ost options now only work with joined conferences.
  125.  
  126.     11)  New command line switch (/Snnnn) added to MAILFIX utility,
  127.          to allow sysops with modified versions of RBBS-PC to use
  128.          MAILFIX on messages bases that contain more than 999 msgs.
