  1. The BOINK program has two functions: first,
  2. it takes a binary file and converts it to
  3. ASCII so that it can be sent by EMAIL. It has
  4. its own internal protocol checks to guarantee
  5. that the file is received correctly. Once the
  6. program has been sent to a remote user, that
  7. user need only run the UNBOINK program.
