- These are the rules of Bevnet. Violation of these rules could mean termination
- from the net.
-
- SYSOPS RULES AND OBLIGATIONS
-
- 1 - Sysops must abide by the user rules of message content.
-
- 2 - Users persisting to disobey the BevNet rules must be dealt with by suitable
- punishment. If there actions persist still their sysop must abide by the
- request of the netHQ to lock that user from accessing the net.
-
- 3 - Sysops running Hubs must realize this is a privalige not a right.
-
- 4 - 2400 baud hubs will be allowed to have three nodes in there hub, if this
- number is exceeded a new hub will be created if possible. If a highspeed
- (9600 baud or higher) node request's to become a hub in this same area
- the decision of BevNet HQ to allow this node to become a hub or not is final.
-
- 5 - All decisions of which nodes are in which hubs and which boards are granted
- hub status will be the decision of BevNet Hq.
-
- 6 - Sysops must Echo a minimun of 5 BevNet Echobases including any of those
- marked as mandatory.
-
- 7 - As there is no charge for this service there should not be any charge for
- Users to enter the BevNet bases. If there is a mandatory or voluntary charge
- to use your bbs this is fine. But any separate charge or post call ratio to
- enter the BevNet message areas is not allowed.
-
- 8 - All hubs should have the latest Bevnet*.arj available as a free download
- on the bbs. This is an optional choice for individual nodes.
-
- 9 - It is the responsibilty of any bevnet sysop that obtains a completed Bevnet
- application to send it to there respective hub as soon as possible.
-
- 10- All above rules subject to change at anytime. It is the responsibility of
- the individual Sysops of the net to be informed of the latest rules and
- regulations of the net. BevNet Hq will post in the sysop base as new rules
- are layed out and attempt to send the new BevNet package to each hub and
- node if possible. But it is the responsibility of the sysops to know the
- rules. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse for breaking them.
