  4. Overview

  7. BayNet is operated as a 'no-hassle', friendly network.  What this means is
  8. no long list of rules and regulations, SysOps helping each other increase
  9. usership and network traffic, and above all else the greater enjoyment and
  10. use of the BBS medium.

  13. The Rules
  14. =========
  15.  
  16. 1.  BayNet Administration is the only required conference.  This is only done
  17.     to insure a channel of communication to every node in the net.
  18.  
  19. 2.  No profanity, name calling, hassling.  It's a family style network so if
  20.     you can't play nice, take your toys and go home.
  21.  
  22. 3.  Mail runs must be done at least every other day.  This will insure a
  23.     continuity in the message bases. (Provisions for out-of-state and over seas
  24.     nodes will be handled on an 'as needed' basis)  Hubs must make mail runs 
  25.     daily.
  26.  
  27. 4.  Gateways to other networks must be approved in advance by the BayNet
  28.     Council of Elders.  (Anticipate an enthusiastic yes in most cases)

  30. 5.  SysOps are responsible for the behavior of thier users.

  32. 6.  BAYNETxx Information Packet must be available for download on all
  33.     network nodes/hubs.  Just to help spread the word.
  34.  
  35. 7.  Decisions on all matters of policy and network use will be made by the
  36.     BayNet Council of Elders.
