  4. 8/92      Founders started bouncing around the idea of a new network.  Originally
  5.     intended to only link two BBSs, it was decided to create a net that
  6.     was available to any system within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  7.     The overall goal is to link all users without having to pay for long
  8.     distance charges.
  9.  
  10. 9/92     Initial application packet with conference list etc. is generated.
  11.     (BAYNET01.ZIP) node list to be added to BAYNET02.ZIP
  12.  
  13. 9/12/92    BayNet goes live, with initial mail transfers. Posting of first info
  14.     packet.
  15.  
  16. 11/92    Fido style echoing is added via DataCore
  17.  
  18. 3/08/93    Second info pack is generated, includes node list (9 nodes and growing)
  19.  
  20. 3/21/93 More nodes, slight changes to application.
  21.  
  22. 4/26/93 Addition of Triumph Software conference.
  23.
