- All 83 Icons included here (32x32 pixels, 16 colors), can be used for any
- Windows/WfWG 9x/3.xx application/program group/menu/item/shortcut/link
- or for your favorite DOS programs/games you are running from a DOS session
- within Win9x/3.1x, and/or when you assign them custom PIF files for running
- in real MS-DOS mode under Win9x.
- This archive contains the single file version of my 83 icons (MYICONS.DLL),
- in .DLL (Dynamic Link Library) format, compressed for reduced file size and
- convenience.
- You can download these 83 separate icon files in .ICO file format [53 KB,

- STEP BY STEP GUIDELINES:

- A. To change a Program Manager group/item icon in Windows/WfWG 3.xx:

- 1. Click once on the Program Manager icon you want to change.
- 2. Click on File from Program Manager's menu.
- 2. Click Properties.
- 3. Select Change Icon.
- 4. Click Browse to search your local drive(s) for the desired icon or icon
- library: .CPL, .DLL, .EXE, .ICL, .ICO, etc.
- 5. Double-click on a highlighted file to assign a particular icon/icon
- library to your program/group.
- If an icon library contains more than one icon, browse to the icon of
- your choice, and then double-click on it to select.
- 6. Click OK twice to save your changes.

- B. To change a shortcut/link/folder icon in Windows 98/95:

- 1. Right-click on the Desktop, Start Menu or Explorer icon you want to
- change.
- 2. Click Properties.
- 3. Select the Shortcut tab.
- 4. Click Change Icon.
- 5. Click Browse to search your local drive(s) for the desired icon or icon
- library: .CPL, .DLL, .EXE, .ICL, .ICO, etc.
- 6. Double-click (or click Open) on a highlighted file to assign a
- particular icon/icon library to your shortcut/link/folder.
- If an icon library contains more than one icon, browse to the icon of
- your choice, and then double-click on it to select.
- 7. Click OK/Apply twice to save your changes.
