  18. All you need to do to join The X-Net is ask your sysop to join and then post messages on

  26. How to Join the IRC Chat channel for The "X" League 777:

  28. 1) download a cool IRC program. Most of them are Free! here are just a few
  29.    you can pick from:
  30.  
  31.    a) http://www.mirc.com/    (mIRC)
  32.    b) http://www.icechat.net/    (IceChat)
  33.    c) www.ceruleanstudios.com/  (Trillian)

  35. 2) Configure your new IRC program to connect to the following server:

  37.    irc.thebbs.org Port 6667   
  38.    channels #x777

  40. 3) Also, once connected be sure to type /nick nickname[bbs] so we know what BBS
  41.    you play for! i.e. /nick bredude[xbit]
