  8. Mega Peril Snake is a remake of the classic "Snake" game
  9. for Windows. Your mission is to drive your snake around
  10. the screen, eating the required amount of food for each
  11. level. Each time you eat some food, your snake grows
  12. longer. You have to watch where you are going, because
  13. your snake doesn't stop and it dies if it runs into a
  14. wall or its own tail.

  16. There are 25 levels in the shareware version. When you
  17. register, you get 100 more levels and an excellent level
  18. editor! Registration is $20 or £15.

  20. Requirements:

  22. Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows NT or better.
  23. Support for 256 colors
  24. Sound card installed in windows (optional)

  26. Getting started:
  27. ----------------
  28. 1) If you haven't done so already, unzip the Mega Peril
  29. Snake files
  30.    into their own directory.
  31. 2) Make sure your video driver is in 256 color mode. If
  32. you don't
  33.    know, try running Mega Peril Snake, and it will tell
  34. you if you
  35.    aren't, and offer help.
  36. 3) To play, run MPS.EXE. You may want to create a
  37. shortcut/group to
  38.    point to this file.

  49. shareware levels. They are arranged in order of
  50. difficulty, and you can start at various stages of
  51. difficulty.

  54. very similar to a paint program, and once you grasp the
  55. basics, you can easily create beautiful levels! This
  56. editor was used to create the original Mega Peril Snake
  57. levels. Kids love it! Make levels for your friends!

  59. Plus, you get the satisfaction that you have done the
  60. right thing. Shareware relies on people's honesty, and
  61. your money allows us to develop new games and make them
  62. great.

  65. these features. Please note that you need the shareware
  66. version in order to register it. We do not supply the
  67. game on disk.
