  5. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  7.   WinChess requires a 386 computer with Windows 3.x installed
  8.   and a graphics adapter capable of displaying 32,000 colors.
  9.  
  10. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  11.  
  12.   WinChess must be installed onto a hard disk or floppy
  13.   disk with at least 1296KB free space.
  14.  
  15.   1. Create a temporary directory to uncompress WinChess into.
  16.  
  17.   2. Un-Compress WCHSS25c.xxx into that directory.
  18.      Where xxx is the compression's extention.
  19.      (ZIP and ARJ are common compression programs used)
  20.  
  21.   3. Go into that directory and run SETUP.EXE from Windows.

  23. OBTAINING LATEST RELEASE
  24.  
  25.   Significant updates are released regularly, and unregistered
  26.   copies of the latest version are available directly from the
  27.   author for just a shipping charge of USA:$5, Foreign:$10 each.
