- MEGABENCH v1.1

-
- Ok, this is a pretty basic setup:
-
- Add the "mountlist" included with this archive to your current
- mountlist.
-
- Copy the "MegaBenchv1" file included with this archive into your
- current c: directory.
-
- In your startup sequence, add these two lines:
-
- RUN MEGABENCHV1
- MOUNT MEGA0:
-
-
- That is it! If you want more than one drive that will write at higher
- than normal capacity, just copy the mountlist, change the device's name
- (MEGA1, MEGA2, etc), and also change the UNIT: number to the device
- number you intend to use (DF0=unit 0, DF1=unit 1, etc).
-
- You can NOT boot from a disk created with this setup. You can use them
- ONLY AFTER you have mounted them, which MUST be after you run the
- MEGABENCHV1 program.
-
- *** WARNING *** This system does NOT work under OS 2.0...period! I
- dont think that I am going to change this anytime soon. Commodore
- decided to change the trackdisk.device structure under 2.0 and many of
- the structures were deleted, even tho these were not supposed to be
- changed when 2.0 came out.
