  6. Ok, this is a pretty basic setup:
  7.  
  8. Add the "mountlist" included with this archive to your current
  9. mountlist.
  10.  
  11. Copy the "MegaBenchv1" file included with this archive into your
  12. current c: directory.
  13.  
  14. In your startup sequence, add these two lines:
  15.  
  16. RUN MEGABENCHV1
  17. MOUNT MEGA0:
  18.  
  19.  
  20. That is it!  If you want more than one drive that will write at higher
  21. than normal capacity, just copy the mountlist, change the device's name
  22. (MEGA1, MEGA2, etc), and also change the UNIT: number to the device
  23. number you intend to use (DF0=unit 0, DF1=unit 1, etc).

  25. You can NOT boot from a disk created with this setup.  You can use them
  26. ONLY AFTER you have mounted them, which MUST be after you run the 
  27. MEGABENCHV1 program.

  29. *** WARNING ***  This system does NOT work under OS 2.0...period!  I 
  30. dont think that I am going to change this anytime soon.  Commodore
  31. decided to change the trackdisk.device structure under 2.0 and many of
  32. the structures were deleted, even tho these were not supposed to be 
  33. changed when 2.0 came out.
