  6. This is a DataTypes.gio for PhotoGenics.
  7. Be advised, this is a quick hack, and the speed is not optimal.

  9. The zzDataTypes.gio was put together in less than 15 minutes at the
  10. Gathering '95. Surprisingly, it worked on the first compilation.
  11.  
  12. This is an extreme hack, and the speed is *not* what it should have
  13. been, but the .gio does it's job none the less.
  14.  
  15. The .gio has the prefix "zz" so it will be the last item sorted in
  16. the loader list and the last loader tried on pictures. This is because
  17. you probably want the real PhotoGenics .gio's to give loading the
  18. picture a shot as they are probably faster and often better than
  19. the datatypes floating around. If you really want, though, you can
  20. simply click on the zzDataTypes loader in the loader window and it
  21. will be the only loader used for the picture you select (atleast that's
  22. what Torege!r told me, don't blame me if it's not correct).

  24. In a future version that will probably come sometime in June when I
  25. have finished all my exams, the speed will be optimized *a* *lot*.

  27. The zzDataTypes.gio was made on request from Torge!r Holm. I don't own
  28. a copy of PhotoGenics, so he was kind enough to supply me with the
  29. developer information. All testing was done on his machine, an Amiga
  30. 4000/030, because I can't test what I don't have, now can I? :)

  32. Anyway, if you decide to use the zzDataTypes.gio, you have to do one
  33. of three things. You can either donate a copy of PhotoGenics to me (from
  34. what Torge!r has shown me on his machine, it looks pretty awesome), you
  35. can send me a postcard telling me you are using the zzDataTypes.gio, or
  36. you can simple EMail me and tell me you are using it.
