- What is SNED ?
-
- Well, SNED (Short for: Samplename Editor) is a tool for editing
- samplenames in modules.
- Maybe you'll ask now if this is useful in any way. I think it is.
- If I want to change/enter samplenames e.g. after ripping a module
- or to enter author's name it is very very uncomfortable to do this
- directly in Protracker and even Prowizard's samplename editor is
- not so great...
- With my SNED you have a tool that can do this in a very comfortable
- way !
-
- The features...
- It supports Protracker and some PT-like formats (Prorunner 1,
- Wantonpacker, Startrekker, Noisetracker, Powermusic)
- You have 7 buffers for often used strings like your handle etc.
- It's even possible to copy the names from an other module or to
- multiple modules.
- Except this it's small, fast and fontsensitive...
-
-
-
- How to use SNED
-
- This is pretty easy...
- - Load: Load the samplenames of the module that you select
- in the filerequester [Key: L]
- - Save: Write back samplenames to disk [S]
- - Clear names: All samplegadgets are cleared [C]
- - Copy from: The samplenames of the selected module are copied
- to the loaded one. [F]
- - Copy to: The loaded samplenames are copied to the selected
- module(s). Press Shift for multi-select. [T]
- - About: Show sum info [A,?]
- - Quit: Well, quit the programm [Q,Esc]
-
- To select a buffer as the actual one press the button on the
- left side of it or press a number key [1..7].
- Use [b,B] to cycle through the buffers.
-
- To use a buffer text as samplename click the button on the left
- side of the samplename gadget.
-
- BTW: [O] activates the songname gadget, [0] activates the first
- samplename gadget.
-
- The buffer texts and your actual module directory are automatically
- saved when exiting the program.
-
-
-
- System requirements
-
- This program should run on every Amiga (TM) with at least
- OS2.0 (V37.175). If it doesn't, pleeze contact me !
- Except this it needs the Reqtools.Library V38+
-
-
-
- And of course sum last words...
-
- If you
- - have any ideas or suggestions for improving this tools
- - find a bug
- - need a special tool
- - want to swap modules/demos/tools/pix...
- - ...
- don't hesitate to contact me at one of the adresses given above.
-
